Who We Are

District 9 is part of Area 36 Southern Minnesota, dedicated to supporting AA groups in Mankato, North Mankato, Blue Earth & LeSueur Counties. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety

As a vital part of Area 36, District 9 focuses on fostering a supportive environment for AA groups in Southern Minnesota. We aim to facilitate recovery by providing resources and services tailored to the needs of our community.

Find a Local AA Meeting

Looking for an AA Meeting in Mankato, North Mankato, Blue Earth, or Lesueur Counties? There are a variety of local meetings every day where people just like you come together to share experience, strength, and hope.

Whether you’re new to AA, returning after time away, or just exploring your options, there’s a seat for you. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to anyone with a desire to stop drinking.

Join us for the Monthly District 9 Meeting 7pm Every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the 5th Avenue Clubhouse. This is a great opportunity for fellowship, service updates, and group unity. All members are welcome!

Grapevine Writing Workshop

 Saturday, September 13, 11:00 AM

Join us for a creative, supportive workshop focused on writing and submitting stories to AA Grapevine. Whether you’re a first-time writer or seasoned contributor, all are welcome to share and grow through the written word.

If you’re questioning your relationship with alcohol, You’ve come to the right place. Alcoholics Anonymous offers a community where you can explore your concerns without judgment. Meetings are safe spaces where you can learn about the AA program, hear others’ experiences, and share your own story if you choose. 

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
